JROB was born in philadelphia, P.a. at an early age he moved to North Carolina with his mother and sister, there they joined Mount Pilgram Baptist church and thats were he found his love for music. After graduating from high school JROBplaced his singing career on hold and joined the us marines,after completing his tour with the marines he moved back to philly and started the R-N-B dou M.W.R(Men With Respect) after several years they performed at several clubs in the philly area.Time went on and the duo decided to go there seperate ways, and after a long time of JROBis back with his solo album THEJROBPROJECT.
