As young teenagers, the talented duo group "Double Barrel", also known as the twins, were very into and influenced by the music culture of Hip-Hop growing up in Yonkers, NY. Listening to artists such as LL Cool J, Jay-Z, B.I.G., Nas, DMX, Cassidy, 50 Cent and many more. Knowing that they were inspired, they decided to pursue a rapping career. As they started writing rhymes, trying day after day to perfect a flow, and increase their skill, they were writing and recording hundreds of tapes in their house till they decided to take their talent more seriously and take it to the next level.

children, Twins so the attention came easy lots of good times.There
love for music has alwasy kept them moving. For 10 years, Double
Barrel as been perfecting there craft. For them, it began as just a
hobby. in the streets of Yonkers, New York, warburton Avenue to be
exact.

founded a group called “DOUBLE BARREL” also d-beatz production
company & db flix...

more. Knowing that they were inspired, they decided to pursue a

their talent more seriously and take it to the next level. Receiving
a bunch of beats from their cousins and friends and going to their
houses to record on 4-track mixers in home studios. Double Barrel
would usually spend a lot of time away from home so they would have
tons of rhyme books, writing in school and even at work.
Although They are rappers they also produce their own music.which
they started doin a couple years back. when asked why they started
producing there own music they say"because they got tired of waiting
on other producers to hand them exclusive tracks" which in return
helped them with there classic material.
Up until 5 years ago, this music thing was all a hobby for Double
Barrel. The professional aspect of there rapping began when they did
a street mixtape and sold them to people they knew and outsiders
in/out of yonkers. they created a buzz for themselves which was easy
because of the twin recognition.Immediately after, they found out
about "DJ Superior" threw a family member gave him a mixtape got
introduced to most hated entertainment and the rest is history. DJ
superior is also DMX’s former DJ,who is now the CEO of Most Hated
Entertainment Records.since then they dropped a mixtape called "lets
get it poppin" moving like several hundred units here and overseas,
and still counting. and there second mixtape "hottest twins in the
hood " which is getting great feedback & there currently working on a
new one named "twin society" which is highly anticipated ans expected
to do very well on streets,overseas, & digitally!!. since then theyve
been featured on multitude of mixtapes.
Furthermore, Double Barrel has appeared in movies such as Think Twice
Little Gangster starring Treach of Naughty by Nature and jump offs 2,
a sequel to jump offs a movie Directed by Derrick Simmons. they have
produced several tracks for other well known local artist, even big
ones, also have been doin good amounts of shows & opening up for big
acts and artist such as lloyd banks,dmx,omarion, b.o.b, etc.... They
have also been on tracks with g-units own "Tony Yayo" Brian
(B.Pumper)Pumper Ruff Ryders own Drag on ,Murda mook, and more.Double
barrel has also collaborated with shadyvilles own DJ Moeskieno who
has now become the official DJ for Most Hated Entertainment.
(DJ Moeskieno is also the DJ for NBA's Tim Thomas of the Dallas
Mavericks.)
double barrel are extremly humble & hard workers these guys are on
there way to a great legacy and successful career in this music
industry, they are somthing to watch for in the near future. with all
this talent and accesories there surely to be one of the top
entrepenuers in our decade, so dont be suprised.... greatness is
inevitable!!!
