Dezyne was born and raised in Kenya, a nation in East Africa. At the age of twelve he moved to the United States with his siblings and his widowed mother in pursuit of education and a better life. Two years later, he started writing poetry and rap songs as an escape from reality. He couldn't afford the costs for extra-curricular activities at school so he bought a cheap microphone and hooked it up
he stories he found captivating. In this process he learnt more than the educational system could have ever provided him. It dawned on him that the best thing for him to do is to pass his acquired knowledge through hip-hop. Since then Dezyne has been progressing towards his ultimate goal which is to entertain and enlighten the whole planet with his music. He is a strong supporter of the Black Chamber Movement, whose goal is to elevate the state of world and fight for justice. Dezyne's music is a mixture of politics, history, and his deepest thoughts on topics that plague society. His music is also entertaining and captures hip-hop at its best. Some say, this is what the game's missing while others find some of his lyrics too controversial to listen. The bottom line is that DEZYNE is here to stay.
