Dr E

Dr. E is a jazzy soulful songstress and Cleveland, Ohio native. From the first moment you hear the clever lyrics and the dancing jazz rhythms, you recognize that her debut CD “ Elevated” isn’t your typical R&B effort. With a voice, which has all the character of Billie Holiday, raspy and playful, Dr. E has a diverse style that includes hints of soul, blues, jazz, gospel and pop. Her glitzy, distinctive vocals are also akin to those of Erykah Badu or Macy Gray. Dr. E delivers lessons from the classroom of life with spunk, attitude, and heart. She proves to all that she has power and finesse and mixes them perfectly.

Dr. E has performed as the opening act for David Hollister, Martha Munizzi, Zapp Band and Stax recording artist N'Dambi. She has also shared her voice with Walt Disney World, The Cleveland Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Fox 8 News in the Morning, Good Day Columbus, Cleveland Ingenuity Festival, Lincoln Theatre (Columbus, Ohio), State Theatre (State College, PA), and The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts among many others.

Several tunes Dr. E has penned have already been licensed to daytime television shows, all of my children, the young and the restless, and Dharma & Greg.
