Blurb about DFitz
Many have tried but only a few have succeeded when trying to pin point this sensational and sexy woman's style. "Who does she sound like?" Often the listening ear is left speechless and can only gather one phrase to utter, "the new breed of female rap has arrived".
Hailing from Charlotte, NC by way of Pensacola, FL, this 5'2 rap diva known for her fun yet provoking lyrical content is blazing her way to the top. Leading with her hit single "Looking Like" , its obvious that the down south country girl is bringing something new to the table.
DFitz is no stranger to the entertainment industry nor is she a stranger to being the best in her area of expertise. Throughout grade school and college, DFitz involved her self heavily in track and field, dance, public speaking, and journalism. In college, she
focused her attention on computers and design yet her true love to entertain haunted her daily.
Upon her college completion she moved to Charlotte, NC where she could no longer resist the urge to entertain crowds. She began by join Sheltlew and producing "Real Talk with Sheltlew and DFitz" a internet podcast gaining national top 100 ranking in its first year. This lead to her being asked to host other large events in the Carolinas including, the Annual Fall Fashion Affair, Carolina Showcase, Carolina Live, The Official Inauguration, and most notable the Queen City Awards.
Though DFitz found success in hosting, it still did not soothe the urge to rock crowds. On a dare, she wrote, recorded and performed her first single "Move". From there spun the DFitz that we have come to know today.
It didn't take long for the event host turned rap star to grab the music industry's attention. Her innocent look, impressive intellect, and her strong country accent push her to the forefront and awarded her the perfect label, "a new breed". After a long wait on her next move, she is finally ready to release her first single already creating a buzz nation wide "Gorgeous".
"The song is a all around girl power song. Sheltlew, my bestfriend, always says that to me. It really makes me feel good so I wrote the song with making other woman feel the same thing I felt."
The single's official release is September 2009 followed by the teaser of her debute album "Good Morning". For now we continue to follow this innovative sweetheart to the top. "I assure you, the ride is worth it!
